I started looking for blessing dresses this week and let me just say that I almost started crying when I saw the prices! I knew it would be expensive but COME ON!!! It's just rediculous! Does anyone have advice on where to shop or do I just have to deal with it??

Ok where do I begin on the mile long post....first how do you do your pictures like that all side to side, its cute. I like the one of your family and my girls!!! Next OH MY GOSH, braxton is so funny. that looks like a maycee move for sure!! I am sorry you were so sad, its no fun to clean up! And the sibling class is to cute. OK LAST the blessing dress thing is awful! i bought my girls there's and then i heard the cutest ideas (that i wish I would have done!) 1. you can have your girl wear your blessing dress or 2. just by one blessing dress and then bless each girl of yours in it. GOOD LUCK, start saving now! :)
They are dang expensive. Ava's is darling-if you want to borrow it, I'll send it to you. Just let me know. (Derek's Mom bought it for us..otherwise she would have been in a white onsie like Aidan was) :)
PS. Glad you liked the little shoes. I bought them when I first found out you were pregnant and then forgot to send them until now. Lame. I'm happy to see you posting again. I've missed you friend!
I am with Shannon... we bought one that both of the girls have worn, and if we have any more girls they will wear it too. Or... isn't there somebody in your family - mom or a sister or something- that likes to sew? They prettiest dressed I have seen are the ones that have been made. You could do the whole making a dress out of your wedding dress thing if you wanted. Just ideas... good luck!
maybe try ebay or something like that! You can usually find new things for great prices! I was lucky to have already found one (hopefully we have a girl(s) someday) my neighbor was having a garage sale and it had never even been worn $160 price tag (still on) $15 baby! good luck I will keep an eye out for you.
Hey Rachel. My name is Staci...I'm a friend of the Bybee's. My mom is Pam's tennis partner. But I saw your blog and just wanted to let you know that Little Things Mean A Lot in American Fork has a lot of blessing dresses. They are pretty expensive, but you can find 20% off coupons or they have a rack that they sell that have very minor flaws, you usually can't even see them, for way cheaper. Let me know if you can't find any coupons cause I think I may have one. Good luck! Tell Brady I say hi!
there is a website called youwillbeblessed.com-- the lady lives in American Fork area, I believe and handmakes the dresses, which are beautiful. I just bought one for my second girl. I bought my first one at Little Things Mean A Lot and boy, it did cost A LOT. Good luck! Little girls are great!
