Anyone?

Ever since Braxton has been getting older, I have a lot more time on my hands. I used to sew with that extra time, but since I've made about 7 boy blankets and about 5 girl blankets(I know I'm an overachiever), I decided it was time to move onto a new hobby and expand my skills. Brady gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card so I purchased some classics. The first book I chose to read is "The Scarlet Letter", by Nathaniel Hawthorne. It took me a little while to know where to begin in the book itself because the "notes" and "introduction" were so long. Basically I read a summary of the entire book by accident!!! I now started reading the actual story and I am having a really hard time getting through all the old English. Wow! So if anyone has tips, or anyone has read it, I am all ears. I will read it though! I will!

I have read that book and I loved it. There is also a movie, but rated R. You could probably find it at a clean flicks or something though. The movie is really good. I saw it on TV.

Hi Rach! The Scarlet Letter is a hard book to kick things off with. The writing style makes it a tough read, even though the plot is really interesting. Good luck! Maybe you could grab some cliff notes to help you along...
