Madison's arrival

We got to the hospital at 6 a.m. on March 18th for my induction. To my HUGE suprise I was dialated to a "5" when we arrived! After getting set up and everything going, the doctor didn't break my water until 11:45-annoying! I understand they are very busy, but it was making my labor take really long!! I finally had her at about 2:00 in the afternoon. The labor and everything about that day was awesome. The doctor even told me NOT to push! She just came right out...and no stitches. YES! My grandma, my sister, mother-in-law, and Brax were all in the room in addition to Brady of course. Braxton was really calm and acted like normal. I can remember him saying 3 things: 1-After Madison was born and the nurses were cleaning her off he simply looked over at me and said, "Mom, is your tummy not big anymore?" then, 2-he looked down and said, "Mom, is that blood?" 3-"Hooray! I get to go to the park now!" (Grandma told him he had to wait until the baby was born. He has been great since we got home just a little naughtiness here and there. He didn't hold her until she was about a week old, all he wanted to do was play with my hospital bed. It has been a joy having our little family home. Transitioning from one to two children is not too bad, just when I have to leave the house! Haha! Loved ones and friends have been AWESOME with helping out. I told Brady we can't have another child unless someone comes to live with us for at least a month! These pictures are in reverse order, and I am adding more on top of this post..oh well. No time to fix it!

I loved hearing your labor and delivery details!! I'm so glad things went well and that she was so healthy. You look gorgeous of course! I'm confused how not one hair is out of place after having a baby...
